The air conditioning system is an integral part of engineering systems of constructions of civil or industrial function. Distinguish two main ways of conditioning of rooms:
- conditioning by means of cooling of the air coming on system of ventilation to the room. The principle of action consists in that that in some of elements of system of ventilation (in forced-air and exhaust installation or an air duct) the cooling section connected to the refrigerating unit (a chiller, the external block of the conditioner, the compressor and condenser block) is established

- Structurally all conditioners are subdivided into two main types: "monoblock" and "Split system". A Split system, consisting of three and more blocks are called a multi Split systems.
Monoblock conditioners represent the uniform case in which all elements are placed that in turn simplifies a design and reduces unit cost. Mobile, roof, window conditioners are an example of monoblock conditioners.
The Split system is represented by two blocks, internal and external. They are connected among themselves by an electric cable and the copper pipeline on which coolant circulates. Such design allows to take out outside the most dimensional and noisy part of the conditioner containing the compressor. The internal block easily is placed in any convenient place of the room.
Modern a Split system are equipped with remote controls by means of which it is possible to program various operating modes of the conditioner: to set the necessary temperature, the direction of an air stream, time of inclusion, work and shutdown and many other things. Also the Split systems is advantage a wide choice of various types of internal blocks.
The following options differ: channel, wall, ceiling, columned, cassette internal blocks. Thus only wall conditioners are household, all other modifications belong to semi-industrial units.
Unlike a Split systems in a multi Split systems some internal are connected to the external block. And they can differ not only on power, but also on type. Each internal block has the control panel. Contrary to ordinary opinion, replacement several Split - is system one multi Split system doesn't conduct at all to reduction in cost of the project as labor input and cost of installation because of long communications increases. To all other at failure of the external block all internal cease to work. Therefore use a multi Split system is marked by limited opportunities for placement of external blocks.

Fixed a multi Split system represent ready sets of the equipment. To change quantity or type of this equipment it is impossible. As a rule it is household systems with two or three internal blocks.
In type-setting the multi Split systems exists opportunity to the external block to pick up some various internal blocks (4-5shtuk). Restriction goes only by quantity and the general power. Such systems treat the semi-industrial. Systems in which the number of internal blocks exceeds 5-6 pieces, treat industrial multizone (VRV or VRF).
Alternative of multizone conditioning is the system a chiller-fankoil which is widely used in large buildings. The arrangement of the external block (chiller) on a roof simplifies installation of system and doesn't spoil a building facade.
The chiller-refrigerating unit intended for preparation of cold or warm water which in turn cools or warms the room. The thermal agent is the liquid prepared in a chiller and on pipelines coming to fankoyla.
Fankoil-eto the internal block consisting of the heat exchanger, the fan, the filter, the control panel. Cold or warm liquid arrives from a chiller to fankoil which carries out a heat transfer with the air coming to it, warming up or cooling it up to the necessary temperature.
