Gazprom develops the general scheme of gas supply of Kyrgyzstan
On December 2, 2014 at the central office of Gazprom the working meeting of the chairman of the board A. Miller and the prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic D. Otorbayev took place.
During a meeting of the party considered prospects of development of various directions of cooperation.
It was underlined that in 2015 within the investment program approved by Gazprom at acquisition of Kyrgyzgazprom, the company plans to make considerable investments in development of gas industry of the republic.
It, including will promote creation of more comfortable conditions of tariff setting for consumers.
It is noted that for the short period from the moment of occurrence Gazprom of Kyrgyzstan in Gazprom group considerable results in interaction of the parties were reached. In particular, Gazprom began deliveries to the republic of natural gas, and also carried out a complex of maintenance and repair works on preparation of gas networks of Kyrgyzstan. Further it will help to provide uninterrupted supply of consumers, including at the moments of peak loadings.
At a working meeting also declared that integration Gazprom of Kyrgyzstan in Gazprom group will increase further efficiency of production economic activity of the enterprise and level of social protection of his workers.
Negotiators discussed the stage-by-stage program of prospecting works on sites Kugart and East Mailisu IV. Prospects of participation of Gazprom in development of the market of oil products and power industry of Kyrgyzstan were in addition considered.
Besides, the question of development of gas transmission and gas-distributing infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan was on the agenda. It was noted that the corresponding objects in the republic are worn-out. In this regard Gazprom develops the general scheme of gas supply and gasification of the country till 2030. The document assumes large-scale reconstruction and modernization of gas transmission capacities, objects of underground storage and distribution of gas.
Participants of a meeting highlighted a role of Gazprom in the organization of autonomous gasification of the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan, and also in preparation of pre-investment research of construction of the main gas pipeline the North-South.
